New Classrooms Now Ready for Children!
In 2023, Bright & Early acquired a successful Guilford child care center with roots in the community for 40 years. The long time Teachers continue to provide consistency and familiarity for children. The center was freshly renovated with many upgrades completed in the existing classrooms. In addition, the center added a beautiful addition to accommodate more families in the Guilford community.
About Our Guilford Center
Children enjoy bright, over-sized classrooms which exceed CT classroom minimum size requirements, ensuring a spacious environment for Teachers and children. Warm, natural light shines into our brightly appointed classrooms through large windows, providing a sunny environment. Each of our infant and toddler classrooms has plenty of space for up to eight children with two Teachers, while our preschool classrooms fit up to ten children with one Teacher. Our indoor gym is perfect for large motor play, especially on rainy or extra-cold days. Outdoors, we have five separate play areas for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, common space, and an outdoor classroom. All of these areas are secure with safety gates, and the playgrounds are outfitted with nationally acclaimed, age-appropriate equipment and shaded structures to protect children from the sun.
We value your convenience. Parking spaces are close to the entrance for safe, easy drop-off and pick-up. If you need to leave your child’s car seat at the center, there is a designated area for this purpose.
We value security. A key fob entry system allows access to the center only for enrolled families and staff. There is also a fingerprint check-in system located in the reception area. An extensive camera system monitors every classroom, hall, entrance, and outdoor play area, and its video feed is viewed throughout the day by the Director.
